Doors.  We all have them, we use them to get into our house, go to the bathroom, to trying on clothes.  If we have to use any building, we have to open a door.  They are a beautiful thing.  Door organizers are another beautiful thing because they make great use of the space and keep items organized.

Elfa Door Organizer

This Elfa door and wall rack unit is available in two colors: white and platinum. It is available in mesh or wire.  There are benefits to both.  Wire is less expensive while mesh can hold items better because there is no opening which prevents items from falling through the bin.

The over-the-door hooks secure onto the top and bottom of the door so you don’t have to drill into the door if you don’t want to.  From there the standard which is available in two sizes (77 3/4″ & 94 5/16″) clips into place.  The most commonly used standard is the 77 3/4″.  The Container Store will cut the standard if you need it to be a different size.

There are three bin sizes available: small, medium, and large.  There is also two narrow bin sizes available: medium and large.  The system also has wall boards available where hooks and bins can be used to display items and keep them neatly organized.  Last but not least, there is a shoe rack that can be used to keep shoes organized.

Bathroom Door

The bathroom door is a great place for this door organizer.  You are able to keep a variety of items within reach such as hair products to supplements to makeup.  This particular design unit has two large bins, two medium bins and two small bins.

Linen Closet

This door organizer was added to this closet to free up space on the inside.  It become a dedicated space for back stock items, which means you have one than one item on hand.  For this scenario that was bandaids, supplements and shampoo and conditioner.

Pantry Door

Spices work great with this door organizer because you can access them quickly and see everything at once.  This particular door was different than most doors because it was small and narrow.  The over-the-door hooks would not work here because of the door was thin so we had the standard cut and drilled it into the door.  From there, the narrow bins were used to keep everything nice and organized.
