Description

Chances are you have a junk drawer or a junk that is unorganized and you’d rather keep it closed so you don’t have to see what’s in there.  Using drawer organizers will eliminate this issue and make all of your drawers beautiful and organized.

It’s annoying not being able to find what you need in a drawer,  you’re shuffling everything around searching endlessly for what you need.

The beauty of these drawer organizers is you can customize them.  Take everything out of the drawer, eliminate what you don’t need and sort by category.  Then figure what size drawers you will need.  Use the smaller bins for smaller items such as tacks, rubber bands, etc.  Larger bins for larger items like cords and calculators

The drawers are shallow which makes them work well regardless of the depth of the drawer.

When organizing larger items, use a bin that will help keep that categorized together.  For example, if you have brushes and combs keep them together in one large bin vs. two smaller bins.  Brushes and combs fall under the same category.

How We Use These Drawer Organizers

We have drawers with a desk area when you first walk into the house.  The top drawer is where these bins are used keeping all of the office supplies organized together.

I put the smaller items in their own individual bin for easy access.  Plus, if they weren’t in their own compartment the drawer wouldn’t be organized.

We keep the cords here because they are an item we frequently use and this was the most convenient place to keep them.  There are office supplies stored here for quick access.

The other place we use these bins is in the bathroom.  I have the smaller square bins being used to keep my contacts organized.  One is labeled “left” for the left contact and the other one is labeled “right” for the right contact.

This is how the junk drawer looked in our other house.  This drawer was a bit wider and deeper.  The set-up for this drawer was a bit different than what we have now because of the size of the drawer and the kitchen cabinets.

Where Else You Could Use These Drawer Organizers

Besides using these in the kitchen drawer to keep things organized, these also could be used in the bathroom. They can keep your make-up organized, all dental care organized such as toothpaste, floss, and toothbrushes.

The other place these organizers could be used is in desk drawers to keep office supplies organized.

Be sure to measure any drawer before purchasing these organizers. When something doesn’t fit, it’s extremely frustrating and can throw you off course when trying to get organized.

Deciding which drawer organizers to use is like trying to put together a puzzle. For really small items such as tacts or paper clips, give them each their own small bin. It keeps them neatly organized and easy to access.  For longer, narrow items the longer bins work best.

Before you head to the store or buy it online, lay out the items in front of you.  This will give you a better visual of what you need.

Last but not least be sure to label the drawer organizers as needed.  This will help keep the drawer organized and prevent other items from creeping into it.
