There’s nothing worse than forgetting an important day for someone you love, like their birthday.  Never forget an important day again with this card organizer.

We live in a digital stage however it’s really nice to receive a card in the mail, it makes you feel loved.  Technology won’t be able to replace the sentiment for a card.  Taking the time to buy cards is a tedious task and easily forgotten.  Plus with Amazon, it’s easy to not get a card because you can send a greeting on the packing slip.

I don’t like sending cards in the mail late, it gives me anxiety.   Something had to change.

Everything changed when after finding this card organizer.  There are a variety of ways to organize this card keeper.  You can organize it by month since there are only six slots, you will need to have more than one month on the label.

How We Use This Card Organizer

We use five categories in this card keeper.  I labeled all of the tabs so it’s easy to find what we need. The first one is Stamps/Labels.  All of the stamps and return address labels are kept here.  We can easily access the mailing accessories when we need them.

The next category is blank envelopes.  We don’t use these very often but we do need them from time to time and it made sense to keep them here.

After that category is the Thank You card category.  Having thank you cards on hand makes life easier, you are less likely to put it off when you have thank you cards handy.

The fourth category is Birthday cards.  At the beginning of the year, I go to the Dollar Store and get birthday cards for the year.  I have a list of everyone’s birthday and go and buy their birthday cards all at once.  I use a post-it note and write the person’s name on the card so they don’t get them mixed up.  This has made our lives infinitely easier.

If we don’t get a chance to mail a gift, we grab a gift card, put it in the card and mail it.  It’s a quick easy process that has eliminated stress.

The last labeled category we have is Christmas cards.  We keep our Christmas card list here and any extra Christmas cards we haven’t mailed out.

Other Benefits

The other nice thing about this card organizer is the ergonomics.  It’s easy to keep it on a shelf and take it down with one hand because there is a holder to grab it.  There is a tight latch on it and you never have to worry about it opening it up when taking it down.

It’s big enough to fit a variety of card sizes in there, I have yet to come across a size that won’t fit.

When it comes to labeling the tabs, be sure to use a label maker or a removable label that you can write directly on it.  Having a removable label makes it easier to change out versus a permanent marker where you’re stuck trying to scrub it out with a magic eraser.
